Chapter Four - Dramione Fanfiction

2009-10-23 @ 22:49:55Permalink Fanfiction/Dramione Skriv av dig! (0) Trackbacks ()

A week later Hermione and Ginny went to Hogsmead to buy their costumes for the Halloween ball. Ginny was jumping around in excitement, but Hermione, wasn’t really happy for the upcoming ball, but she tried to smile so that she wouldn’t ruin this for Ginny.

“If you don’t calm down I’m going to turn around.” Hermione said twenty minutes later, when she couldn’t stand it anymore.

“Oh, please Hermione, don’t be so prude. Let’s have some fun shall we?” Ginny smiled and hooked arm with Hermione, and she couldn’t help but to smile back.

They walked into a small shop where they had clothing for Halloween. Hermione couldn’t stop the gasp that came out of her mouth. All of the clothes looked so different from the Mugglecostumes.

Ginny tried on a several outfits before she decided for a witch outfit. It looked really great on her.

“Aren’t you going to buy anything?” Ginny asked while they went to Three Broomsticks, where they have planned to met Harry, Ron and Lavender. Hermione had always had a crush on Ron, but it didn’t bother her that he was with Lavender.

Ginny seated herself next to Harry, who put his arm around her waist. Ron and Lavender was snogging. She felt a bit lonely when she was the only one with no boyfriend.

“I think I’m going back.” She said and turned away. None of the really cared, and it hurt her. Didn’t they care for her anymore?

Stop it Hermione. You can’t be so selfish! You should be happy for them.

Hermione walked into someone and fell down to the ground.

“I’m sorry.” Malfoy said, as he reached his hand to lift her up. She took it and he held a few seconds longer before he let go of her. She looked up at him and liked the way he had his hair. It didn’t have the amount of hair gel as I used to, but instead it was naturally ruffled as if he had drawn his fingers through it a several times. His skin was pale, but his cheeks had a little bit of color, probably because of the cold. He was much taller than her, about 7.4 inches as she was 6.5 inches.

“Are you okay?” He asked and she looked at him in surprise.

“Yeah, why?” She asked.

“Your crying.” He said and caressed her cheek with his hand.

“I’m not.” She said, but when her fingers touched her cheeks she felt that they were wet.

“Oh.” She whispered and flushed when she felt the warmth of Malfoy’s hand.

He looked her in the eyes, shocked he’d never seen her beauty before.

“What?” She asked.

“Your really beautiful.” Draco mumbled, before he could stop himself.

“Malfoy that was just lame!” She said and pushed him away and ran up against the path. Draco followed her, and because of all the Quidditch he’s been practicing he quickly reached her. He grabbed her arm, and made her turn around. Tears ran down her cheeks and she tried to get away, but he tightened his grip, not willing to let her go.

“Malfoy, let go! I thought you’d improved yourself, but it seems like you’re the same as ever.”

“What are you talking about?” Draco felt confused. He had changed. For her.

“I don’t think it’s nice of you to make jokes about how I look.” She yelled.

“I said you were beautiful and I meant it. It wasn’t a joke.” He said and pulled her into a hug. He felt her arms around his waist and he smiled.

“Why? No one else cares, then why would you?” She whispered and Draco leaned his cheek on her head.

“I care.”

“But why? It’s not like I’m beautiful. Is it because of my body or…”

“No, it’s because of your intelligence, your laugh, you smile. Everything about you is perfect in every way.”

“Don’t make fun of me.” She muttered against his chest and he laughed.

“I’m not.”

It was two weeks since Hermione had run into Malfoy and she hadn’t seen him since then. But that was probably because she spent all of her time in the library, doing homework. They had gotten a ton of homework and she couldn’t concentrate in the common room, knowing that Malfoy would be there.

She felt a bit embarrassed about their meeting. He had been so kind to her, but still, he could’ve done that to get to her. That would be so typical him.

She looked at her clock. It was eleven. It was time to patrol the halls. She quickly stepped up and walked in a quick pace to the Head’s dorm. She said the password and stepped in. It was empty so Malfoy was probably in his room or he was going to be late, again. She heard to portrait open and Malfoy ran in.

“It’s time to patrol the halls.” Hermione said and he nodded. “I’m just going to chance.” He walked into his room and closed the door after him. Hermione went to her own room and put her bag on the bed and then walked down again. Malfoy was already there waiting and she smiled to him before they went out.

Hermione and Malfoy decided to go in different directions, so they could get it over with earlier. Hermione heard voices and began to walk towards them.

She saw a group of people standing in a ring, around two guys from sixth grade.

“Hey, put you wands away!” She yelled and pushed her through the crowd. She saw that is was two Slytherins.

“Oh, isn’t it a Mudblood.” One of them said, and Hermione felt the anger plod inside of her.

“I will have to take points from the both of you. Let’s see…” She didn’t get further before she was slung back. She hit the wall and she could hear someone yell before everything went black.

Draco was in his room, looking outside the window. He had tried to sneak to the Hospital Wing, but Weasel and Potter was always there so he could only get there when it was closed. He looked at his watch for the tenth time that evening, and it was ten minutes till he could get down checking on her.

He had seen that it was some kind of duel there and had gotten just in time to see Hermione fly in the air and hitting the wall. Everyone had disappeared immediately and he had taken Hermione to the Hospital Wing. She’d been there for three weeks now without waking up and he was getting worried. He didn’t care if it made him look stupid, but he cared for her, and he wanted to be there when she woke up.

He looked at the clock and then hurried down to the Hospital Wing.

Hermione’s head felt like it weighed several tons, and she slowly opened her eyes and looked around. Everything looked dizzy, but she saw a tall figure with blonde hair sit next to her.

“Draco…?” She whispered and he turned to look at her.

“Oh my god Hermione, your awake.” He said. He took her hand and held it tightly between his.

“You called me Hermione?” Her voice was low, like she hadn’t spoken in weeks.

“You’ve been gone for three weeks and the first thing you notice is that I called you Hermione.” He laughed and she looked a bit confused.

“Three weeks? Where am I?”

“Your at the Hospital Wing. You were hit by a curse and you lost conscious.”

“And I’ve been here for three weeks. Oh my god, how much have I missed in class?” Hermione tried to sit up, but Malfoy gently pushed her down again.

“You need to rest. And don’t worry about your classes. I’ll help you.”

“I’ve rested enough. I need to get out.”

“Your staying.” He said and gently caressed her cheek. “If you don’t recover properly then you might never get out of her.” Malfoy said and smirked at her. She gave him a weak smile before she closed her eyes.

“I’ll let you rest.” He whispered and kissed her on the forehead before he walked out off the room.

Hermione felt tears wash down her cheeks, but she didn’t care, since no one was there to see her.

Draco stood in the doorway, looking at Hermione. He could see that she was crying, and he felt how his heart compressed at the sight. He didn’t like seeing her hurt. He left and headed to their common room, so that he could go and visit her before breakfast.

Chapter Three - Dramione fanficiton

“Hermione how is it? Your so quiet.” Harry’s voice came so sudden that Hermione jumped in her chair.

“Oh, it’s just fine. A lot on my mind, that’s all.” She said, and smiled to the two boys who were looking worried. Before they got the chance to ask anything further Ginny came running. She hugged Harry and kissed him on the cheek and seated herself.

“Guess what? We’re going to have a ball at Halloween. How fun wouldn’t that be?” Ginny sounded so excited that it infected on Hermione, who isn’t that fond in parties or so.

“I can’t wait. I have no idea how to dress myself. Hermione, you have to help me! Oh, and Harry, we have to find a costume to you to.” Ginny wouldn’t shut up about the ball, and Hermione thought that was quite entertaining.

“Ginny, calm down. It’s a month to go, you have plenty of time.” Hermione said with a laugh.

“Plenty of time? Are you kidding me? Don’t you know how long it takes to find the perfect costume?” Ginny sounded hysterical, so Hermione led her outside and told her to take a few deep breaths and calm down.

“Are you feeling better?” Ginny nodded and Hermione let go of her arm.

“I have class now, so I have to go. See you later.” Hermione said and waved, before going to Transfiguration, which was her first class for the year.

Hermione flipped through the book so that the time would go faster. She didn’t even hear that someone was there, until someone snatched her up. She tried to scream but that someone covered her mouth. She was pulled in an empty classroom, and she heard someone lock the door. She pulled out her wand and turned around to see Malfoy stand by the door with a smirk on his face.

“Hello Granger.”

“What do you want?” Hermione shrieked and Malfoy looked coldly at her.

Silencio. Accio wand!” Hermione’s wand flew out of her hand and into Malfoy’s.

“What are you doing?”

“I just need to make sure you don’t tell anyone about that kiss.”

“Why would I? Like I want my reputation ruined so that everyone gets to know I kissed the Slytherin sex god.” She said the last words with a really sarcastic voice.

“Don’t play with me Mudblood.” He stepped closer and for a second Hermione felt fear, but quickly pushed it aside.

“I’m not going to tell anyone, so please let me go.” Hermione started to get really annoyed and just wanted to go out. Class would start soon and she didn’t want to get late.

“You have to promise you won’t tell anyone.” He said, coming closer. Hermione stepped one step back, and felt the wall behind her.

“I promise I won’t tell anyone about the kiss.” She said and hold out her right hand. Malfoy gripped it and pushed her to the wall. He took the other hand to and she looked at him a bit confused and afraid. She wasn’t sure about how far he’d actually go.

She looked him in the eyes, and she could feel her cheeks get red, like the always turned when she was really angry.

The look in her eyes. The anger that made her honey brown eyes even darker made her even hotter. No, he wasn’t supposed to think that way. But still. Her lips, light red and so soft. He leaned closer and her eyes got even bigger. He breathed on her small, delicate neck. He softly kissed her, before he bit her, leaving a mark. Her breath quickened and Malfoy kissed her lips, putting his arms around her waist. Her hands rested on his chest, but didn’t try to push him away. He kissed her with passion and then he dropped his head to once again kiss her neck. Suddenly he felt her push him away. He looked her in the eyes, which were now filled with tears.

“Don’t…” She whispered, before she picked up her wand, that he had dropped, and ran out of the room. He stood there, his hands against the wall. He stood there for minutes, before he picked up his own wand. He walked out of the room, and saw that Transfiguration class already started. He walked in and seated himself behind Granger. Why he didn’t quite now. After a few seconds Pansy entered the room, seating next to Malfoy.

“Why are we sitting here?” She asked, frowning her for head.

“I don’t know. Needed a change maybe.” He said and shrugged his shoulders.

During the whole lesson he stared into Grangers neck, and he saw the mark he left behind, but she tried to cover it with her collar. She laughed at something Weasel just said and he had a strong desire of being the one who would make her laugh. He was the one who was supposed to make her laugh, smile and feel comfortable.

When the class ended, ‘the golden trio’ rose and left the room, and Granger just looked ahead of her, avoiding his gaze.

Hermione was in the library when McGonagall came in. She looked around and when she was Hermione she hurried to her.

“Ms. Granger I need to speak with you. Come with me.”

Hermione, who thought of everything she had done, trying to find something that was forbidden, when she saw Malfoy waiting outside. She glared at him, but he looked just looked like his old self, so she ignored him and walked after McGonagall. She walked in to her office, and Hermione and Malfoy followed after her. Hermione started to feel really nervous, but tried to hide it as well as she could.

“Sit.” McGonagall commanded and they both obeyed.

“Don’t look so worried Granger, I’m not going to yell at you.” Hermione felt herself relax, but she felt a little uncomfortable sitting so near Malfoy.

“I was just going to inform you, since you’re the Head’s that we’re going to start a new class to the seventh years. It will teach you to trust each other, and you will have it with all of the other Houses.”

“What does that mean?” Hermione asked, a little confused.

“That means Ms. Granger that it’s like every other class, but a bit different. It teaches you how to talk to everyone and try trusting the other students in the school. More I can’t tell.” McGonagall said with a hint of a smile on the corners of her lips. “You can go now.” She turned around and started working with some papers on her desk. Hermione and Malfoy left and when they got out, Hermione hurried away from him.

She wanted to get as far away as possible and she didn’t want to get late to her next class. She looked at her schedule, and she sighed when she was it was Potion. And guess with whom. The Slytherins of course. She sighed and leaned herself against the wall. Why can’t she just go to class, and try to forget about the kisses?

She didn’t think she would ever say this, but she might actually like Malfoy. And it doesn’t help that his being an utterly jerk to her. God how she hates this! Why can’t it be like before, when she hated him. Why does she have to fancy him? Well, she probably always had a thing for him, but she just thought it was for his looks but… It’s something else that draws her to him. Something hidden, something that he has forgotten. Something that she wants to find out what it is. She leaned her head against her hands and she felt tears falling down. Why does life have to be so complicated? Why can’t she just live her life the way she planned? Concentrating on her last year in school and then maybe get a boyfriend or something. Not that Malfoy would ever want to come anything like a boyfriend to her but still… She has to forget all about him, and concentrate on the important things. She wiped her cheeks and then hurried to class. She was already five minutes late.

“Sorry I’m late.” Draco turned around just as he saw Granger running into the room.

“I’m glad you decided that you think your time is not too precious to spend in Potions. Take a seat next to Malfoy. He will be your partner this year.” Granger looked around and her eyes were caught in his. Brown to silver. She flushed a bit and seated next to him.

“Well well, isn’t Ms Know-it-all a bit late?” Draco asked with a smirk and Granger looked a bit hurt, but he could’ve imagined it, because the next second she showed no emotions. Draco got a little confused, but decided it’s none of his business why she acts like she does.

They started to work on their potions, which proved to be Poly juice potion, but Snape had changed it so that it would only take a week for it to get ready instead of a month. He saw a little smile on Grangers face, and his heart started pounding harder.

Dammit! She’s a Mudblood, don’t forget that. Your way to good for her! Or she’s way too good for you.

Draco shook his head and tried to get away Granger from his brain, but it was hopeless. Her scent, her hands, her lips. He couldn’t get them out of his head and he just wanted to hold her in his arms, kiss her soft lips and…

“Malfoy I know you don’t want to work with me, but please can you help me out a little bit?” She asked him and he turned around. He couldn’t hold the laughter in him as he saw her. She had accidentally put a little too much of some ingredient because her face was covered in some brown slime.

“Don’t laugh at me!” She said, but a little smile was playing on her lips.

“But you look hilarious!” He pulled out his wand and in a few seconds the disgusting slime-thing was gone from her face.

“Thank you.” She said, and she smiled and parted her lips a bit so she showed her teeth, which were a lot smaller since he had hexed her and she had diminished them.

“Let’s get to work or we’ll never get it done.” Hermione said, and they worked hard and didn’t speak unless they needed some ingredients.

Chapter Two - Dramione Fanfiction

Draco Malfoy sat with his friends by the Slytherin table looking bored. He just wanted to get this over with so he could get to bed. He wasn’t in the mood talking to his friends, and there for he sat silent, trying to get Pansy’s whining out from his brain. He hated her voice, as she always was complaining on something.

“Draco, are you even listening?” She asked and leaned herself against him.

“No, I can’t take your voice. It’s hurting my ears.” He said sincerely with a smirk on his lips. She looked offended, but kept whining about something that had happened her during the summer. He shut her voice out, looking around in the Great Hall. His eyes went to the Gryffindor table, where Potter and Weasel sat talking to the Mudblood. Her hair had grown longer over the summer. It made her frizzy hair look more tamed and that suited her.

Wait, what was he thinking? He didn’t actually compliment her? Even if it was in his head, he can’t think something nice about that I-know-it-all Mudblood. That’s just… Well that’s just disgusting. But still… She looked quite nice, and if she were a pureblood, that maybe he could’ve asked her out. But no, she’s a fucking Mudblood. God, I hate that girl!

He turned his head against the teachers table, where Dumbledore now stood up, waiting for everyone to shut up.

“Welcome to a new year here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Mr. Filch want to remind you that the Forbidden Forest is a forbidden territory for everyone. No one is allowed to go in there. And then, I want to say congratulations to Mr. Malfoy and Ms. Granger, who are the Head Boy and Girl for this year.” Everyone applauded, and he could see that Hermione sat a little straighter, looking very proud of herself. How is he going to survive this year, knowing he has to spend time with her?

“And then, we came up with an excellent idea. Why don’t Head Girl and Boy share dorm, so that the Houses might get along better.” What? Was he actually suggesting that I, Draco Malfoy, will be sharing dorm with Hermione ‘Fucking Mudblood’ Granger? He can’t be serious. He looked at Hermione, who sat there, looking shocked and terrified. He smirked at her and winked, and she turned away, talking to Harry and Weasley and they both looked kind of upset. Maybe this could be fun after all. If he got to piss of Weasel and Potter than maybe this year wouldn’t be so bad. He smirked for himself, before he started to eat.

After the dinner McGonagall ordered the Head’s to her, since she was going to lead them to their new dorm. Hermione said goodbye, before she walked to McGonagall, trying to keep her distance with Malfoy. They followed her as they went to the fifth floor, where their new dorm would be.

The painting that was their entrance was really beautiful. It was a Veela, with her long blond hair flying around. She stood on a meadow, filled with flowers and butterflies were flying all over the painting. Hermione couldn’t help the gasp that came from her lips.

“You wish you looked like her don’t you?” Malfoy whispered and smirked and Hermione showed her tongue before she turned to the painting again.

“The password is Butterfly, but you can change it if you want to. And no fighting.” McGonagall said, before she walked away.

“Well, shall we keep the password or take a new one?” Hermione asked and looked at Malfoy.

“Well I want a new one. Let’s say… Blueberry cupcakes.”

“Fine by me.” Blueberry cupcakes were Hermione’s favorite, so she didn't mind.

The painting swung open and they walked in and Hermione gasped once again. It was beautiful and much bigger than the Gryffindor common room. It was mixed with green and red, which wasn’t such a beautiful combination, but it still worked somehow. There was a big fireplace, with sofas and comfy armchairs surrounding it. There were also bookshelves, which were filled with books and a table with two chairs, which could be used as a study table.

“Can you please move, so I can get to my room.” Malfoy said behind her and she quickly moved.

“Sorry.” She said, not actually paying much attention to him. Hermione wondered how her room would look like, and got up the stairs and went to the room where it stood Head Girl with gold letters.

“Good night then.” She said, and without waiting for an answer, she stepped into the room and looked around. Gryffindor colors were all over the room and a huge bed in the middle. Here stuff were already unpacked, and she decided she would go to bed early, since she didn’t want to wake up late first day at school.

She put on her pajama, which were a pair of boxer shorts and an oversize T-shirt. She heard a knock on her door and turned around and saw Malfoy standing there, staring at her.

Draco stared at Granger, who looked really hot in a pair of boxer shorts and a t-shirt. He would’ve never thought he’d actually say it, but Granger is hot.

“What do you want?” She asked sternly.

“I just wanted to say that we don’t have patrol duty tonight, but I guess you already knew that.” He said, before he walked away, closing the door after him.

He decided that he would read before going to bed, so he took a book from one of the bookshelves and went to one of the armchairs.

The next morning Draco woke up and saw that he was still in the common room. He pulled his fingers through his hair and looked at his watch. He had plenty of time before breakfast so he decided to take a shower. He went to the bathroom, not knowing that someone already was there. He opened the door and his jaw fell down as he saw Granger in just a bra and skirt. She hadn’t noticed him yet, but when she looked up her eyes were filled with anger.

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING? GET OUT! NOW!” She yelled and took a towel to cover herself. Malfoy turner around and walked out, a bit embarrassed.

He sat down at the couch, and stared into the fire. He thought about Grangers body, which was really hot. He hadn’t thought that under her baggy clothes there was actually a really hot body.

Granger walked out from the bathroom, avoiding looking him in the eyes as she hurried to her room and slammed the door after her. He smirked before he went to the bathroom to take a bath.

Hermione stood in front of the mirror, flushing as she brushed her hair. She couldn’t believe that Malfoy actually seen her half naked. It was so embarrassing. What if he told everyone in school? Then my good reputation would be ruined!

I can’t let that happen. I have to talk to him before he gets the chance to tell all of his friends about it. Hermione put her hair in a loose ponytail before she took her bag and walked out of the room. Malfoy was on his way out and Hermione panicked. She didn’t think, and she just jumped on to Malfoy back, wrestling him down.

“If you tell anyone of what you saw, I will kill you myself.” She threatened and looked in his silver eyes.

“You shouldn’t be ashamed of your body. Your bloody hot.” He said and smirked and Hermione could feel her cheeks flush in anger.

“Your not telling anyone.” She said, leaning closer to him. Before she could react, his lips were pressed on her, and for a moment she forgot who she was kissing, and kissed him back. But then she pushed him away and stood up. She had never been this angry before.

“What the hell!” She yelled, before storming out of the room, leaving a confused Malfoy after.

He didn’t know what had just happened, but he hurried out of the room. He needed to get out, before he turned crazy. Why had he just kissed a Mudblood? And Granger of all girls.

He went to the library, were he could calm himself before going to the Great Hall.

Chapter One - Dramione fanfiction

Hermione Granger stood with her parents waiting for the train to arrive. She felt excited about this year. The NEWTs was yet to come and on top of that she had been selected as Head Girl. This year couldn’t go wrong. This was her year.

“Hermione, is that you?” She turned around and saw her best friends Harry Potter and Ron Weasley stand there.

“Ah, I’ve missed you all summer!” She screamed and hugged them both.

“Where’s Ginny?” Hermione asked when she let go of them.

“She’s somewhere around. I don’t know really.” Ron said shrugging his shoulders.

“Well, let’s find her then.” Hermione said goodbye to her parents before dragging Ron and Harry after her, searching for her best girlfriend, Ginny Weasley.

She saw her a few feet away and ran to her and hugged her.

“Ginny!”

“My god Hermione, are you trying to kill me or something?” Ginny laughed and hugged her back.

“How was your summer?” Hermione asked, while they took their trunks and carried them inside the train.

“Well… I hooked up with Harry and… Well. That’s about it.” Ginny smirked at Harry, who waved at her.

“Oh my god! Are you and Harry together now? That’s great Gin!” Hermione said excited.

“What about you? Has something special happened?”

“No, not really. I spent all of my time with my parents, since they think I’ve been away too much.” Hermione smiled. She was so happy to be back again.

“Well, your year here at Hogwarts will be amazing. I’m just saying that some quite great things have been planned.” Ginny said, with a devilish smile playing on her lips.

“Ginny Weasley, your not going to break any rules, are you?” Hermione said, trying to sound stern, but couldn’t help smiling.

“No, Ms. Head Girl, I’m going to behave exemplary this year. Don’t you worry!” Both girls laughed while they seated them self in an empty compartment.

Short after Ron and Harry came, with Neville and Luna after them. Both of them were holding hands, and it was obvious that the two of them were a couple.

They all seated and Ron and Harry started playing Wizard chess, and Hermione and Ginny talked with Neville and Luna about their summers. They had gotten together about a week ago, so it was all new to the both of them.

Suddenly the door swung open, and three boys stepped in. Hermione immediately recognized them.

Draco Malfoy and his two friends Gregory Goyle and Vincent Crabbe.

“Well well, isn’t it the famous Potter with her dumb friends.” Malfoy said, and smirked. “You finally found a girlfriend Longbottom?”

“Shut up Malfoy.” Hermione said, and pointed a wand on his throat.

“Don’t you dare touch me, Mudblood.”

“Take that back.” Ron jumped up from the seat, but Hermione raised one hand to calm him down. “Ron, I can handle this by myself. I don’t need anyone to protect me.”

“Of course you don’t need anyone to protect you. Your blood keeps everyone away from you, ‘cause no one wants to get dirty.” Malfoy smirked, and Hermione felt tears filling her eyes and she quickly looked away, not wanting Malfoy to know he found her weak spot.

“You take that back!” Harry said, and now his wand was also pointing at Malfoy.

“Why would I? I just wanted to say that since your Head Girl, you need to go to the Head’s compartment.”

“And why were you sent to tell her?” Ginny said, and stood up.

“’Cause I’m the Head Boy.”

“You got to be kidding me.” Ron said, his ears starting to get read. Hermione knew that if Malfoy would be here a few seconds more, Ron wouldn’t get a hold on his temper, and that meant that he could get hurt.

“Fine, I’m coming. Go ahead.” She said, and waved Malfoy and his friends away. She turned to her friends, and tried to smile, but failed.

“I guess I have to go then.”

“Be careful. If he hurts you in anyway, tell us, and we’ll kick his ass.” Harry said as he smirked.

“I will. But I better get going, if we don’t want him to return.” Hermione said, and walked out.

She walked to the front, where the Head’s compartment is. Malfoy was already seated and he smirked when she entered.

“Don’t say anything, unless you want me to hex you.” Hermione warned him, while she took her book and started to read. She loved reading Muggle books, but she hadn’t told anyone about it.

“What are you reading?” Malfoy asked, and Hermione looked up at him. He had his usual smirk placed on his lips and Hermione stared at him for a few seconds.

“None of your business.” She said, and returned to her book. Even if she didn’t feel ashamed of being a Muggleborn, she didn’t want Malfoy to always think of her as a Mudblood. God she how she hated that word.

“Fine, I was just trying to be polite.” He said with a bored voice before turning his head to the window again. The rest of the trip they sat in silence, and as soon as they arrived both of them hurried out of the compartment, trying to get away from each other as fast as possible. But they both got stuck in the door.

“Move Malfoy.” Hermione said angrily, as she wanted to get to her friends as soon as possible.

“No, you move Mudblood.” He said with a voice that sent shivers down her spine. She moved and he walked out, not looking back once. She hurried out of the train, and her eyes caught on her friends immediately.

“Hi guys! Here I am, alive and safe.” She said and laughed as she started walking with them to the carriages.

“Oh good! I thought he might hex you or something.” Ron said, and Hermione sent him an evil look. Like she couldn’t take care of herself. They sat in silence throughout the journey to Hogwarts. But that didn’t matter to her, since she got time to herself. She loves to get lost in her thoughts, but that not always so good. Especially not in class, but that didn’t happen so often. It felt like forever before they were in front of the gates that led to Hogwarts, and Hermione couldn’t wait until she got to go to her precious library again. She had missed the smell of the books, the silence. And she had also missed the classes. Everyone thought she was crazy when she said that, but they knew her to well to even bother to think about it anymore. Hermione was known for her intelligence. And that didn’t bother her at all, but secretly she wondered if anyone would even bother to get to know her.
